The strategy should change depending on the number of players.

3-4 Players

5-8 Players Having >5 gems on the trail: Usually, some players will leave instantly upon seeing the path back to camp full of gems. You should not risk doing so as multiple camps will result in sharing of the gems. Always aim to be the last few explorers. Being the last explorer ensures you get the option to go for an extra hunt alone, which gives huge rewards. Keep track of who's in the lead for the most number of points. A good start is half the battle won as it puts a lot of pressure on your opponents.

Don't be salty and blame it on luck. Use your brain.

Only cowards leave the temple before the artifact is revealed. (take the above advice with a grain of salt...)
